Job description
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Cloud Support Engineer with deep expertise
in Google
Cloud Platform (GCP), specializing in network architecture, infrastructure migrations,
and professional
services engagements. You will be responsible for supporting enterprise customers
through complex
cloud transformation projects, ensuring reliable, scalable, secure deployments, and post
sale customer
support.
Responsibility
This role is ideal for candidates with a background in cloud infrastructure, network
engineering, and
technical consulting, who thrive in dynamic, customer-facing environments.
- Provide technical support and
guidance during and after cloud migration and deployment projects
on GCP.
- Design, troubleshoot, and
optimize GCP networking components (VPCs, VPNs, Interconnects,
Firewalls, Load Balancers, etc.)
- Assist customers with hybrid and
multi-cloud integration, on-prem to GCP migrations, and
cloud-native transformations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional
teams (engineering, operations, security, professional services )
to deliver professional services engagement
- Act as a trusted technical
advisor to enterprise clients during onboarding, planning, and
post-migration support.
- Write and maintain technical
documentation, runbooks, and post-mortem analysis for support
cases and incidents.
- Identify recurring issues and
help drive continuous improvement across products and processes.
- Ensure alignment with best
practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and high availability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent practical
experience
- 2+ years of experience in
technical support, professional services, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture or a
similar public cloud.
- Deep understanding of network
protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, BGP, VPN, NGFW etc.).
- Experience with cloud migration
tools, Terraform, or Deployment Manager.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix
environments and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Strong troubleshooting and
problem-solving skills in cloud or distributed systems environments.
- Excellent communication and
customer-facing skills.
